How red reishi improved your health
January 26th, 2010
We constantly receive many compliments about our products. Whether it is a phone call or an email sent to us, it makes us very happy that red reishi is improving the lives of our customers. With our hectic schedules, it is very hard for us to post each and every single feedback we get. We would like to open this specific blog for anyone that would like to share their experience with red reishi to our readers.
I’ve had asthma for almost my entire life. I am now 63. I’ve had my share of the medications I took. I can literally write a book about the nasty side effects of some of them. Then, the past year has been the most important year in my life as I started taking the Toi red reishi under my daughter’s insistence. To the amazement of my doctor, my asthma attacks have been almost non-existent. My asthma symptoms are nearly gone and I finally can feel what 100% of myself is really like. Don’t really know what it fixed in me, but I can’t thank enough for this miracle product.
I am a scientist with a PhD in cell biology, so the first thing I did after breast cancer entered my life, I researched alternative medicine (my research has long convinced me that traditional medicine often does more harm than good) including various mushrooms and different brands of Reishi, and this place became the source of Mikei Reishi for two rounds of treatment as well as for two friends overseas whose fathers had prostate cancer. As some research suggested, we used the high dose three times a day with vitamin C — up to 10-12 capsules, or 2.5-3 mg (for older patients 2-4 capsules a day). It was a part of other more conventional approach, in my case — a part of neoadjuvant therapy (the conventional part was anti-estrogen treatment), and Resihi were alternated with artemisinin. After six months of combined therapy (two cycles of Mikei Reishi, two cycles of artemisinin) the tumor shrank from 4×5 cm to undetectable by MRI or physical examination. Unfortunately, the pathological response wasn’t achieved (still cancer cells throughout the tissue), so surgery is still on the list, and I intend to continue the “Reishi protocol”(lower dosage, 2-4 times a year) and of course take it around my surgery. As an unexpected benefit, my blood pressure that has been on the rise for several years (above 120/80) went down to 110/70 as 30 years ago, and elevated cholesterol also decreased. One friend’s 80+ year old parent with six year-old prostate cancer and bone metastases was hiking up the hills keeping the same pace as her and her husband.
